
Naree became a director of MGI in 2002. She began her career with Boyd Tuckwell Lush (now MGI) in 1988, as an undergraduate as part of RMIT's Co-operative Year programme. She holds a Bachelor of Business from RMIT and is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia.
Naree has worked in the general business services area and has provided consulting services in all areas of domestic taxation and superannuation, including indirect taxation areas such as sales tax and GST.
Her client base consists largely of medium to large private businesses operating in a wide range of industries including manufacturing, transport, service, retail and wholesale.
She specialises in retirement and superannuation planning. This includes advising on accumulating, investing and accessing retirement benefits and managing the taxation and other regulatory issues this involves.
Naree has presented at many seminars on taxation issues and in particular, she has presented at seminars to family businesses on superannuation and taxation issues relating to succession planning. She is also a member of the ASFA small funds discussion group which lobbies government on superannuation issues.
