
Joff Macleod is managing director of MGI. A graduate from The University of Melbourne, Joff has a Masters of Taxation from the same University and in excess of twenty years experience in the accountancy profession.
After gaining a grounding in the chartered accounting profession, Joff joined MGI (then Boyd Tuckwell Lush) in 1987 and has been a director since 1995. In this position he is responsible for advising groups of large private clients in all aspects of business including taxation, superannuation and retirement planning, corporate finance, strategic planning and succession planning.
Joff has a keen interest in the agriculture business and advises a number of large family groups in the agriculture industry.
Joff is also actively involved in the Corporate Advisory division of MGI and in this role has been involved in providing advice on all stages of a business life cycle including raising seed and venture capital funding, preparing business for sale or investment, managing and advising business growth strategies and assisting with the purchases and sale of businesses.
Joff has presented papers at various seminars throughout Australia and overseas on taxation, superannuation and international taxation. He also sits in an advisory capacity on a number of private company boards, sporting bodies and charitable bodies.
