Sue Prestney, Principal of MGI Melbourne, has been appointed Executive Chairperson of MGI (Australasia), a leading international accounting firm specializing in providing advice to family and privately owned businesses.
MGI is represented by 283 offices in 82 countries and has been operating in Australia and New Zealand for 25 years.
Ms Prestney is one of Australia’s most prominent advisers to family businesses with over 36 years of accounting experience. Ms Prestney is a specialist in the areas of succession planning and family business constitutions.
Ms Preståney is also a national spokesperson for the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and regular media commentator on small and medium business issues.
Ms Prestney, who has been with MGI for 17 years, replaces Mr Mal Di Giulio, Director of MGI Perth, as the current Chairperson.
